
Actor Daniel Dae Kim has tested positive for COVID-19, better known as coronavirus. While Kim is currently in Hawaii, he recently left New York, a hotbed for the virus.
“I wanted to let you know that yesterday I tested positive for COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus,” he told his fans.
“It’s important for you guys to know that I was asymptomatic during all of this time,” he added.

“To be safe, when I got home I quarantined myself in a room in the house and tried to rest on my own,” he continued.
Kim went on to explain the process of learning that he tested positive during a ten minute Instagram video. He is one of many actors to test positive for the virus in the last few days. Previously, Tom Hanks and Idris Elba have tested positive for COVID-19.
Kim is currently self-quarantined in his home in Hawaii.
