Roy Hibbert and D’Angelo Russell are no longer teammates on the Los Angeles Lakers. That doesn’t mean the two can’t workout together.
Both Hibbert and Russell were seen training together in a semi-unorthodox fashion. Russell and Hibbert might not have bumped heads on the court but it appears they might have done some sparring in the squared circle of a boxing ring.
D’Angelo Russell posted the following video on his Snapchat.

Hibbert is off to the Charlotte Hornets, replacing the departed Al Jefferson, and his role is relegated to that of a bench big man. Meanwhile, Russell is going to be viewed as the next Lakers leader as a new era in Los Angeles gets set to begin.
The fight isn’t lost in Russell. He’s been seen play fighting some teammates before during practice and Roy Hibbert was a member during those fake brawls. Hopefully for Lakers fans, this new workout can bring some toughness to the court this season. We already know he has ice in his veins but what kind of fight does he have in his heart?
