Kyrie Irving is a Celtic. LeBron James and Isaiah Thomas will both hit free agency next summer, and neither is expected to stay with the Cavaliers. The future suddenly looks very dim for a Cavs team that has advanced to the NBA Finals in three consecutive seasons. This potentially bleak future, along with the city’s $140 million plan to renovate Quicken Loans Arena being scrapped, has spawned rumors about owner Dan Gilbert moving the team out of Cleveland, perhaps to a larger market (Seattle?). Gilbert has given his word that the Cavs aren’t going anywhere. Ever.
CLE,Let's put any silly rumors to rest: I will never move the Cleveland Cavaliers out of Cleveland. Period. And that's unconditional.@cavs

Gilbert has owned the Cavs since 2005.
