Portland Trail Blazers star point guard Damian Lillard is not too happy about the team’s current state:
"We kind of suck right now." — @Dame_Lillard

The Blazers are currently 7-6 but have dropped their last two games (to the Bulls and the Rockets) by a combined 42 points. Luckily for Lillard and the Trail Blazers, the team’s next three games are in New Orleans, Brooklyn, and New York. Those three games should all be wins, although the Knicks game is the first of a back-to-back. The second game of that back-to-back is in Cleveland; it’s unlikely that Portland takes that game.
This season, Lillard has averaged a career-high 28.8 points to go with five rebounds and 4.6 assists per game while shooting 46.6% from the field, 36.7% from three-point range and 90% from the charity stripe.
Lillard’s backcourt mate C.J. McCollum has also had a great start to the season, averaging career-bests in points per game (22), rebounds per game (4.2), field goal percentage (47.8%), three-point percentage (43.3%), and free throw percentage (86.7%).
