Portland Trail Blazers star guard Damian Lillard continues to prove his versatility doesn’t just apply to his on-court game. His off-court ventures are also proving to be very beneficial for him to continue his passions beyond the basketball court.
Lillard announced he would be in New York this week to promote his second album, Confirmed, which is set to release on Friday, October 6th, less than two weeks before the start of the NBA season. He’s debuting a song with Lil Wayne on Friday titled ‘Run it Up’. Lillard also revealed that he will be dropping his latest sneaker, the ‘Dame 4s’ on the same day.

This isn’t the first time Lillard worked with the rap legend. Lillard had a track with Lil Wayne on his debut album ‘The Letter O’ that was initially on hold due to issues from Wayne’s album.
Kicks On Fire reported back in July that Lillard’s latest kicks would be released in two primary colorways.
“The Rip City comes in Blazers colorways as White, Black, and Red can be seen on both the upper and sole. The Un-Dyed colorway comes with a Cream-based placed on top of a Gum sole unit.”
Casey Holdahl of Blazers.com shared a preview of the sneakers during a recent practice.
The Dame 4 looks so nice. Like a cross between a hoop shoe and the NMD. pic.twitter.com/pXuWPTqBVl
