Webber’s lawsuit against Dash lists $6.84 million in damages for himself and $565,000 for Muddy Water Pictures, his film company.
The calculations to sum up $7 million are a total Webber claims to have lost due to direct actions of Dash. Webber alleges to have lost a $6 million contract due to Damon Dash’s behavior. Court documents obtained by The Blast continue to list another job where Webber lost $275,000 and the remaining $565,000 derives from the amount of followers Dash garners on Instagram and YouTube.
Dash currently faces a temporary injunction barring him from promoting the film Dear Frank which both men previously worked on. Webber allegedly dropped Dash from the project however Dash continued to operate on the film’s behalf.
