Don’t get me wrong here. But I find this quite funny. I know that the Dallas Mavericks got screwed by DeAndre Jordan and the Clippers. I know they were the victim in all that.
But to go from DeAndre Jordan to JaVale McGee! Oh man. I’m sorry but that’s quite funny. And to be honest, couldn’t happen to a better team. Great coach, good players. An enthusiastic owner. What more could you want?
But unfortunately they’re still hunting for a big man. And according to RealGM, that man is JaVale McGee.
The Dallas Mavericks have opened up discussions on a potential deal with JaVale McGee, league sources tell RealGM.
McGee was traded by the Denver Nuggets to the Philadelphia 76ers at the deadline and was subsequently bought out.
Now JaVale has been a journeyman of sorts. With the injuries he has sustained over the years he clearly isn’t trusted when it comes to longevity. Which is not his fault, it’s just that teams are more careful when it comes to McGee, and that’s understandable.
I hope the Mavs sign him and actually keep him. Move all the ‘Shaqtin’ aside and you got yourself a pretty decent player.
