Lebron James did something no one in league history has ever done, by scoring 32 points and shooting 11-15 from the field, James became the first player ever to score more than 30 points in six straight contest and shooting better than 60% from the field.
Damian Lillard added 33 points for the Blazers, who led in the 4th quarter before Miami had 14 unanswered points.
Memphis Grizzlies 108, Sacramento Kings 101
Memphis had four players in double figures, led by Marc Gasol’s 24 points and Tony Allen’s 19. The Grizzlies outscored the Kings 16-6 late in the third quarter to get a double digit lead and Sacramento never led again.
Utah Jazz 109, Oklahoma City Thunder 94
Al Jefferson’s 23 points and Paul Millsap’s 18 points and 10 rebounds were enough to beat the Thunder despite Kevin Durant’s 33 points. The Jazz bench outplayed the Thunder’s by outscoring them 48-25.
Los Angeles Lakers 91, Phoenix Suns 85
In a game in which Kobe Bryant only attempted eight shots (None in the first half) and had eight turnovers, the Lakers needed 19 big points from Antawn Jamison off the bench and a bounce back performance for Dwight Howard of 19 points & 18 rebounds to beat the struggling Suns, who are at the bottom of the western conference.
Houston Rockets 116, Golden State Warriors 107
The Rockets beat the Warriors for the second time in less than 10 days.
James Harden tweaked his ankle but came back to score 27 points, second year player Chandler Parsons was close to a triple double with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists and Jeremy Lin returned to the bay area for 14 points and 10 assists. The Warriors are currently on a 5 game losing streak.
