
Los Angeles Clippers 107, Philadelphia 76ers 90
The Clippers build a lead by as many as 27 in the third quarter and Philadelphia didn’t look like an NBA team against “Lob City”. Chris Paul, in his third game back, had another strong performance with 21 points and 11 assists and Jamal Crawoford had 20 off the bench.
Charlotte Bobcats 94, Boston Celtics 91
The Celtics missed two three pointers with the game on the line that could have send it to overtime, but they failed. Ramon Sessions jumper gave the Bobcats the lead, but it was Bryon Mullens who had the best game for Charlotte with 25 points and 18 rebounds. Boston’s 7th game winning streak is over.
Minnesota Timberwolves 100, Cleveland Cavaliers 92
The Wolves, who hadn’t won a road game since January 3rd, were led by Luke Ridnour and Ricky Rubio to finally win away from home. Rubio had a double double of 13 points and 10 assists while Luke Ridnour led Minny in scoring with 21 points.
Brooklyn Nets 89, Indiana Pacers 84 (OT)
Roy Hibbert, David West and Paul George struggled from the field against the Nets, who played without Deron Williams, shooting just 8 out of 38 from the field. Brook Lopez had a strong game for the Brookyln Nets with 25 points while Reggie Evans grabbed 22 boards.
New Orleans Hornets 105, Detroit Pistons 86
The 2012 #1 overall pick Anthony Davis struggled vitally scoring just 1 point in 17 minutes, but Ryan Anderson scored 31 points of the bench for the future Pelicans. The Hornets led by as many as 20 points during the third quarter.
San Antonio Spurs 103, Chicago Bulls 89
No Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, Stephen Jackson or Tony Parker? Still no problem. Kawhi Leonard set a career high 26 points, shooting 11-18 from the field and grabbing 4 rebounds to led the Spurs over the Bulls, who got outscored by nine in the final quarter. Nate Robinson scored 20 for Chicago.
Washington Wizards 102, Milwaukee Bucks 90
The Wizards have won 10 out of 17 games since John Wall came back from his injury and rookie Bradley Bea set a career high of 28 points even if his wrists was taped from a previous injury. The Bucks scored 32 points in the first period, but had trouble scoring against the Wizards, having just 58 games the rest of the way.
Atlanta Hawks 95, Dallas Mavericks 91
Josh Smith’s 26 points and 13 rebounds and O.J Mayo two mistakes in the final minute of the game helped the Hawks get away with the victory. Smith, who is isn’t a high percent shooter from way downtown, made 4 out of 5 from three. O.J Mayo had 19 points for Dallas but his two bad passes in crunch time contributed in the loss.
