DaBaby has been sentenced one-year probation for his connection to a North Carolina Walmart shooting. In a report by TMZ, Mecklenburg County District Attorney’s Office says the rapper was convicted Thursday for carrying a concealed gun, which is a misdemeanor. He was sentenced to “12 months of unsupervised probation and 30 days in jail.” The jail sentence was dropped.
Back in November, DaBaby got into an altercation with a man inside of a Huntersville Walmart. 19-year-old Jalyn Craig was shot and killed and the rapper confirmed his involvement in the deadly shooting as an act of self-defense.
Investigators are still investigating who shot Craig. TMZ reports that no other arrests or charges have been made.
