It may be hard to believe, but we’re coming up on the second anniversary of D Smoke’s career-shifting victory on Netflix’s Rhythm + Flow. Since then, he’s collaborated with Snoop Dogg, performed on ABC and earned a GRAMMY nomination. After delivering his debut studio album and taking his victory lap, the California native has delivered his sophomore studio album, War & Wonders.
“War & Wonders is about capturing the beauty and struggle of Inglewood living,” he said about his project.
“The wars we fight, both internal and external, help us to embrace love, success, and life’s many wonders.”
The new project includes features from Boogie, John Legend, Fireboy DML, Tobe Nwigwe, Dem Jointz and BJ The Chicago Kid. It also includes previously released records like “Shame On You” with Marsha Ambrosius and “Common Sense” with his brother, SiR.
