
Cypress Hill, the first Latino American hip-hop recording group, will make history receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Cypress Hill is made up of B Real, Sen Dog, DJ Muggs, and Eric “Bobo” Correa.
ABC 7 reports that the Grammy-nominated hip-hop group’s star will be revealed on Thursday, April 18 in front of Green Leaf Restaurant at Eastown. Actor, comedian George Lopez, and rapper Xzibit will be present and help with the induction ceremony.
Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame said in a statement,
“We are proud to honor the first Latino American hip-hop recording group. They have been successful as a group for three decades and we know they will continue their success for many years to come.”
The ceremony will be live-streamed on walkoffame.com.
