College athletes are declaring out of the wazoo today. We’ve had Aaron Gordon declaring. Montrezl Harrell deciding to stay with Louisville.
And we now have two more NBA hopefuls declaring for the Draft.
Syracuse Forward Jerami Grant and Michigan Forward Glenn Robinson III.
The news of Robinson came when there was word he signed with an agent, which is the usual green light to assume he will be declaring. His press conference to make it official will come later this week.
ESPN have him at 34 while my boys at DraftExpress have him 10 spots lower at 44.
But if bloodlines mean anything, I’m sure he’ll do we’ll in the NBA.
As for Jerami. He’s been pipped as a legit first rounder after a breakout college season with 12.1 PPG and 6.8 RPG. All this while only playing just over 14 minutes per game! That’s done good numbers considering he doesn’t even average a half of college basketball.
