It has been about half a year since legendary sports reporter Craig Sager passed away after a long battle with Leukemia. The longtime NBA on TNT sideline reporter had become a mainstay and symbol of the basketball world and his loss was felt by many who had grown up watching him interview coaches on the sidelines.
But while Sager may no longer be with us, his legacy will not be forgotten. The colorful reporter was awarded a posthumous Sports Emmy for “Outstanding Sports Personality – Sports Reporter”

Sager’s longtime colleague Charles Barkley also took away an award:

TNT’s coverage of the NBA has been tremendous for years and their track record speaks for itself. Nevertheless, this time it meant a little more. Even if Craig is no longer blessing our TV screens with his loud outfits, it feels great to show our appreciation towards him for years of amazing work.
Congratulations to Craig Sager and Charles Barkley.
