
The long-anticipated Chris Pratt vehicle ‘Cowboy Ninja Viking’ is set to begin production next year. According to Omega Underground, the film is slated to begin shooting in Vancouver, British Columbia in June of 2018. This would put the film right on schedule to meet it’s previously slated release date of sometime in the summer of 2019. Chris Pratt is the only actor attached to the project currently, though other names could be announced shortly.
The film is based on the Image Comics series Cowboy Ninja Viking in which Pratts character who has a multiple personality disorder, can at any given time inhabit the mind of a cowboy a ninja or a Viking. ‘The series revolves around a counter-intelligence unit of Multiple Personality Disorder patients, formed by psychotherapist Dr. Sebastian Ghislain, who are transformed into agents known as Triplets (referring to the three different personalities inside their minds). It is hinted that this is possible through experimental psychiatric conditioning and treatment, psychotropic drugs, and past life regression therapy. After the unit falls apart, its various members are turned into hired killers. Duncan, a Triplet who channels the skills of a Cowboy, Ninja, and Viking, is sent to find and stop the rogue Triplets’ Via Wikipedia
