DeMarcus Cousins is looking ready to return from a viral meningitis illness when the Sacramento Kings host the Milwaukee Bucks tonight. The Kings upgraded Cousins status from questionable to probable. He has been able to participate in practice the past few days and his minutes will likely be limited. Sacramento has gone 2-8 without one of the best centers in the league. The Kings fired coach Michael Malone Sunday night during the losing skid and gave Tyrone Corbin the job to be the interim head coach.
Cousins is averaging career highs of 23.5 points, 12.6 rebounds and 1.5 blocks this season and will to return tonight after missing 10 straight games. The Kings also said Reggie Evans, who has started for Cousins in his absence is out tonight with a bruised left knee and hip and Omri Casspi is also out with a bruised left knee. Rudy Gay is probable with right Achilles tendinitis.
