Cory Jefferson was the last pick of the 2014 NBA Draft where he was selected by the San Antonio Spurs. Before that, he spent four-years at Baylor University. After being drafted by the Spurs, Jefferson’s draft rights bounced around before ending up with the Brooklyn Nets.
After impressing at the 2014 Orlando Summer League the Nets signed Jefferson to a two-year deal. He featured in 50-game for the Nets his rookie season and got sent to the G-League once. After his rookie season, Jefferson was waived, signed by the Phoenix Suns, then waived again, re-signed by the Suns, released, signed by the Cleveland Cavaliers, and then waived again.
Although Jefferson spent time in the G-League and bounced around a lot in his NBA career he clearly still has NBA aspirations as his deal with Milano features an NBA out by June 30, 2018, per Maggi.
As an athletic 6-foot-9, 215-pound big man who can’t shoot, Jefferson will probably feature as a center in Euroleague play.
