The Indianapolis Colts are now in business for the services of a back up quarterback.
NFL media insider Ian Rapoport is reporting the Colts have released back up quarterback Josh Freeman.
The #Colts released QB Josh Freeman, and with Matt Hasselbeck not returning, they now need a backup for Andrew Luck.

The Colts have made it known that Matt Hasselbeck will not be back with the team as well creating an interesting dynamic to the move. With Charlie Whitehurst scheduled for free agency, Stephen Morris is the only other quarterback on the roster besides for Andrew Luck. There will be a number of quarterbacks for the Colts to choose from including the recently released RG3.
It remains to be seen whether another team is willing to give Josh Freeman another chance as he has bounced around the league for a good portion of his career. Freeman joined the Colts roster in the season finale week 17 last season leading the team to a win over the Titans.
