No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide
This should come as no surprise. No one in the country is doing better than the Tide. With sophomore QB Jalen Hurts completely dominating the season yet again, with an NFL running back, things are going smooth sailing in Tuscaloosa.
No. 2 Penn State Nitany Lions
The Nittany Lions are set to be clear Big Ten Champions. Although, this upcoming weekend, they face a true road test as they head to Columbus to face the mighty Buckeyes of Ohio State. This will be the final test for the remainder of the season. Saquon Barkley is without a doubt a Heisman candidate for 2017. He will be without a doubt the biggest threat during the game.
No. 3 Georgia Bulldogs.
Coming off of a bye week during week eight, the Bulldogs look to obliterate their opponents in SEC play yet again. Along with Alabama, the Bulldogs are a clear contender for a spot in the College Football Playoff come December. All it takes now is to keep the foot on the break and stay on the rails. The Bulldogs have a big shot at winning out on their season. However, come conference championship season, the Bulldogs could be facing the Crimson Tide of Alabama, which could potentially play as a “quarter-final” match-up for a spot in the Playoff, in the perfect scenario.
No. 4 Texas Christian University Horned Frogs
The Horned Frogs are without a doubt the most solid team in the Big 12 in 2017. With an undefeated record, the Horned Frogs may be in trouble when they visit Ames, IA for the Iowa State match-up. This will be a very interesting match-up considering Iowa State has already knocked off No. 3 Oklahoma in their own stadium earlier this season. TCU needs to keep the momentum swinging as they are hopefully aware of this rising Cyclone team of Iowa State.
