Colin Kaepernick is currently a free agent quarterback despite being a dual-threat QB who has led a team to the Super Bowl this decade. Many have pointed to his pregame national anthem protests as the reason why he currently is unemployed despite no teams actually admitting to it publicly.
But Kaepernick has always displayed a positive outlook in almost every situation. Despite quarterbacks like Case Keenum, Scott Tolzien, Tom Savage, and Josh McCown getting starts this season, you have not heard one complaint from Kaepernick on not being signed.
There was some speculation about his future and if he actually did want to play football again and if his mind was in it. Kaep shot down those thoughts by coming out publicly in a rare interview saying he is not done with the NFL and still wants to play.
Following comes from Shaun King.
I asked Colin, "Do you want to play football?"
His answer: An emphatic "Yes. I've never stopped. I'm ready right now. Working out daily." https://t.co/5UF9wnLaGT

Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers are the two big names to open up this season about Colin Kaepernick and their thoughts on him currently not having a job in the NFL. Rodgers supports Kaepernick taking a stand for what he believes while Brady went as far to say that Kaepernick deserves a job in the NFL.
