
Colin Kaepernick retweets messages affirming no mutual agreement with Travis Scott to perform during Super Bowl LIII exists. Maroon 5, headliners of the coveted half-time slot will be joined by Travis Scott and Big Boi.
The former NFL quarterback who’s lack of employment sparked a boycott against the league denies the ASTROWORLD rapper and he agreed on respectable terms. Artists such as Rihanna and Cardi B allegedly turned down the opportunity in solidarity with Kaepernick and allegiance to the peaceful protest movement.
Variety first reported Scott and Kaepernick came to understand the points of view held on both sides however it does not seem as though Kaepernick came to the same conclusion.
A tweet from radio personality Nessa, also Kaepernick’s romantic partner, says “There is NO mutual respect”. The tweet, shared by Kaepernick alleges Travis Scott lied.

While the half-time show of the year grows in political controversy, the Travis Scott remains confident in his decision to take the stage.
Travis Scott’s confirmation came with the requirement of the NFL donating $500,000 to Dream Corps.
“I back anyone who takes a stand for what they believe in,” Scott said in a statement. “I know being an artist that it’s in my power to inspire. So before confirming the Super Bowl Halftime performance, I made sure to partner with the NFL on this important donation.”
