Coi Leray is back yet again with a new record called “Rick Owens” produced by Losaddos and KookUp. Named after the popular designer, the new single showcases the New Jersey native getting some bars off about how she’s set trends instead of followed them.
“Proud to be a big influence/You know, big trend-setter/You know everything I do/You know they do it, but I do it better, you know,” she says in the record’s opening moments.
“Dryer, fold, n*ggas scolded/We go up in this b*tch and get lit like a stove/Call me up but just don’t drop it on my Rick Owens,” she raps.
At a time like this, Coi Leray can take time to brag a little. Despite the pandemic, she’s continued to work as hard as any artist out at the moment. She delivered the “Slide” video with Gunna, dropped a new project and worked with likes of Kiana Lede and Sevyn Streeter. Not to mention, she’s appeared on she’s sat down for interviews with Cool Kicks and No Jumper.
“Rick Owens” is just the latest step forward for Coi Leray. Check out the new record below.
