With the world watching and nitpicking your every move, it’s easy to find yourself constantly over analyzing every aspect of your life. However, Coco Jones has never been one to take the easy route or the path others have laid out for her. Instead, she blazes her own trails and her debut album, Why Not More?, is the lastest example of her ability remain fearless in a world that demands a lot from her.
Why Not More? is a 14-track expedition into the thoughts and emotions of a 27-year-old Black woman daring to be confident, vulnerable and most importantly, assertive in what she wants and won’t tolerate any longer. Along the 14-track journey, Coco Jones dips and dabbles in whatever genre or fusion she wishes, bledning Pop, Rap, R&B and more to ensure no track sounds the same as the previous. Future, YG Marley and London On Da Track each add their own spice to the story Jones is telling, but she remains the main character at all times.
Why Not More? is the starter pistol as Coco Jones will race across the country this spring and summer, performing in venues alongside TA Thomas and Lady London. Kicking off in Philadelphia at The Fillmore, the North America leg of the Why Not More? tour will run from May 6 through June 26 at the Ryman Auditorium in her hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. The tour will resume in September with a ten-day run through Europe.
