With everybody voicing their opinions on whether Cleveland should trade Andrew Wiggins In order to get Kevin Love. (Partly because LeBron said so)
Legendary coach of the game. Duke and Team USA’s Mike Krzyzewski has voiced his credible opinion on it saying he would take the chance of getting Kevin Love in a heartbeat. (According to Kurt Helin of ProBasketballTalk).
There’s absolutely not one second of hesitancy. I’d trade for Kevin Love.
That’s not saying anything bad about any of the other youngsters. Love’s an All-Star and he’s a double-double guy. But he’s a double-double guy who can spread the court. There aren’t many double-double guys who can spread the floor; he can go inside and outside. There may be a low post player that gets you a double double, but Love, you can do a lot of different things with him.
Well it’s obvious that the Cavs need a power forward. Tristan Thompson is good no doubt. But we’re talking about a double-double machine and Cleveland have some guards to play with.
I don’t see why the Cavs can’t just offer up Waiters and Thompson for Love. Waiters will be a starter, Love will be on a championship contending team. Everybody wins.
And why can’t teams like Cleveland and Golden State wait another year so Love can decide? Just a thought.
