Many fans were disappointed early Friday morning when the clock struck midnight and there was no new Kanye West project. Despite new releases from DaBaby, Young M.A., Sheff G and many more, there were many patiently awaiting the release of West’s Jesus Is King project. While the project didn’t drop, West did drop the details for another exciting event.
On Friday night, Kanye West held a live listening experience for 2,000 fans at the Fox Theater in Detroit, Michigan. At the event, fans got an early look at the album and an upcoming film from the Chicago native. As expected, details about the project leaked out via social media throughout the night.

One of the more exciting developments from the Fox Theater event was the reunion of the Clipse. The final track of the album is called “Use This Gospel for Protection” featuring Clipse and Kenny G. If true, this would mark the first time this decade Pusha T and Malice have appeared on a track together.
Outside of the much anticipated reunion of the Clipse, Billboard reports that the album is ten tracks and thirty-five minutes long. According to his wife, Kim Kardashian-West, the album will be released on Sunday once final mixes are completed.
Later this weekend, West will take his live listening experience on the road to Chicago and New York. In the meantime, check out the snippet of “Use This Gospel For Protection” featuring Clipse and Kenny G above.
