In the process of the trade that would send Jeff Green to the Memphis Grizzlies, the New Orleans Pelicans are working on sending their young prospect point guard, Austin Rivers, to the Boston Celtics. In turn, the Celtics aren’t going to keep Rivers on the team long and are now looking to send Rivers away so his salary won’t be on the books. The team he’s going to though, is quite interesting.
Celtics and Clippers discussing a deal for Austin Rivers, league sources tell Yahoo, but Boston doesn't want salary back next season.

Celtics willing to move A. Rivers for 2nd-round pick. For Clippers, it's free look at 10th overall pick — who'd only be college senior now.

Austin's 22, pending free agent. Clips searching for PG depth. Front office/ assistants telling Doc: Forget his last name. This makes sense.

Austin Rivers being sent to the Clippers would be a good move for the Clippers, like Wojnarowski said, its a good look at the 10th overall pick in the 2012 draft. The Clippers would have had the 10th overall pick anyway if they didn’t trade away their first round pick to the Timberwolves who then sent it to the Pelicans. Crazy how things come full circle. In that draft, the Clippers have no results coming out from it as they got rid of their second round pick, Furkan Aldemir, to the Philadelphia 76ers.
Looks like the senior Rivers will be acquiring the junior Rivers in Los Angeles. Could be a good move to answer some wing scoring questions the Clippers may have had before. Worse comes to worse, it gives the Clippers a chance to develop Rivers under one of the best point guards in the league, if not the best, Chris Paul.
