With his second 10-day contract expiring Tuesday Hamilton Clippers committed to Hamilton now instead of waiting until the deadline. Hamilton started the preseason with the Toronto Raptors before they waived him. He was picked up by the Utah Jazz but never saw the court, he was waived just five games into his Jazz career.
Since he’s been given a chance with the Clippers however he’s averaged 4.6 points and 1.6 rebounds in 10.9 minutes a game. He’s played a nice reserve role alleviating some of the heavier minutes other starters were playing thanks to Blake Griffin and Jamal Crawford’s extended absences. Coach Doc Rivers even gave Hamilton the starting nod in two of his 10 games as a Clipper.
The Clippers take on John Wall and the surging Wizards tonight who are currently on a five game win streak.
