When Steve Ballmer took over the Los Angeles Clippers organization, fans expected a fresh change and now they’ve got it. The Clips unveiled their new uniforms late Wednesday night and are out trying to publicize the new look. Not many people are too excited about the Clippers new jerseys.
The new home uniform features a white base with red and blue trim and “Clippers” written on the front in black. The number and names are written in a deep red color. The base of the away uniform is red and features the logo on front instead of “Clippers” with the numbers and names written in white. The Clips were badly in need of a jersey upgrade, however there has kind of been a mixed reaction to the release. They also eerily resemble EA Sports’ NBA Live 06 video game cover which has raised some eyebrows.

2015-16 looks to be another fruitful season for the Clippers. They can now officially be called the prominent team in Los Angeles after the downfall of the Lakers and the Clips’ meteoric rise over the past couple years. Chris Paul and Blake Griffin will both still be on the roster next season, however DeAndre Jordan is still a question mark. These new uniforms could be the start of a fresh, new era in the City of Angels.
