The Los Angeles Clippers beat the New Orleans Pelicans 108-95 at home Wednesday night. The Clippers were led by Blake Griffin’s 21pts, 10reb, and 5ast, and DeAndre Jordan’s 14pts (6-6 FG), 20reb, and 5blk. Jared Dudley added 20pts and Jamal Crawford finished with 17pts. Chris Paul had an off night finishing with just 12pts on 4-13 shooting from the field, be he did add 11ast. The Pelicans got double-doubles from each of their star players: Jrue Holiday and Anthony Davis. Davis, who returned from a hand injury tonight, added 24pts and 12reb, while Holiday provided 13pts and 10ast. Ryan Anderson added 17pts for the Pelicans as well. The Clippers showed dominance over the Pelicans all game, despite Paul’s off night. The Clippers’ defense, anchored by Jordan, was solid all night and gave trouble to Holiday and Evans in the paint. The Clippers take on the Denver Nuggets December 21st.
