When things go horribly wrong, people tend to knit pick. We like to analyze and over analyze teams and rumors of our favorite teams and it’s because we care WAY too much, but that’s sports. The Los Angeles Clippers just lost a series that they led 3-1. The Houston Rockets are now in the Western Conference Finals against the Warriors. No one in Los Angeles is happy. When that happens, people tend to wonder what is wrong with the players and coaching. DeAndre Jordan and Chris Paul supposedly had ‘rifts‘ between each other.
Now here comes teammate and Clippers guard Dahntay Jones telling everyone, what they already know, there was nothing going on with Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan. According to TMZ:
There is NO rift between Chris Paul & DeAndre Jordan … despite reports to the contrary, so says Clippers teammate Dahntay Jones who tells TMZ Sports the L.A. superstars are still like “brothers.”
“Guys fight and argue on the court, but that’s just the emotion of the game,” Jones says … “but people want to blow things out of proportion.”
“Those guys are brothers, man. They sit with each other on the plane, on the bus. If you don’t like a guy you stay away from him.”
Reality is that the Clippers having bigger problems than relationship issues. People in those relationships have the opportunity to leave, and it’s up to Doc Rivers and Steve Ballmer to keep him. DeAndre Jordan could be going anywhere from Dallas to right across the hall in the Lakers locker room.
