Veteran point guard Sebastian Telfair had an NBA job at the beginning of the season. He was with the Oklahoma City Thunder and was playing heavy minutes due to early season injuries to point guards Russell Westbrook and Reggie Jackson. Telfair was put into a big role and contributed early for the Thunder averaging 8.4 points, 2.8 assists and 20.4 minutes per game in 16 games with them but then was mysteriously released by the team.
Now due to some injuries and lack of depth on the Los Angeles Clippers, it seems like Telfair’s name has been brought up in considerations for getting another job in the NBA.

The Los Angeles Clippers are in discussion with free agent guard Sebastian Telfair and are considering a potential deal, league sources told RealGM on Sunday.
After being released in November, Telfair signed in China where he scored nearly 20 points per game for Xinjiang.
Behind Chris Paul and Austin Rivers, the Clippers have lacked depth at point guard since releasing Jordan Farmar, and Doc Rivers told reporters on Sunday afternoon that the Clippers are exploring a 10-day contract for a backcourt player.
Rivers has history with Telfair, coaching the 6-foot guard with the Boston Celtics during the 2006-07 season. Telfair also played for the Clippers in 2010.
For the longest time Telfair has never really developed into the player he was hyped up to be coming out of Lincoln High School in Brooklyn, New York. Telfair was supposed to be the next great point guard in the NBA and he’s been everything short of that. He’s played 564 NBA games and has averaged 7.4 points and 3.5 assists throughout his 10 year NBA career.
