UCLA product Shabazz Muhammad is one of many young talented players on the Minnesota Timberwolves. With the trade deadline looming, several teams are interested in acquiring Muhammad’s services. From Darren Wolfson of KSTP:
Newton's first real test: whether to move Shabazz. Hear tonight Blazers, Suns, & Celtics kicking the tires. LAC still too, & more. #twolves

“Newton” refers to Milt Newton, GM of the Timberwolves. In another tweet, Wolfson mentioned that more than just those 4 teams are interested in Muhammad:
@mngopher21 Definitely more than 2nd. He's a nice player on his rookie deal. At least 8 teams like him. Still not sure I see a trade.

2 teams that were reportedly looking to trade for Muhammad earlier this season were the Lakers and the Nets.
The 23-year old small forward is averaging 9.7 points and 3.1 rebounds per game this season, while shooting 45.8% from the field and a paltry 27.8% from 3. Muhammad is capable of playing better than he has this year, which we know because he was excellent last season. In 2014-15 he averaged 12.5 points and 4.1 rebounds per game on 48.9% shooting from the field and 39.2% from 3-point range.
