Coming off a 7 game road trip, you would thing a team would be exhuasted and maybe take a step back in a home game against one of the conferences worst teams. The Los Angeles Clippers didn’t do that, in fact they did the opposite and dominated early on in the game and never let the Minnesota Timberwolves get back in it.
Blake Griffin and J.J. Redick each scored 23 points before sitting out the entire fourth quarter, and the Los Angeles Clippers returned from the most successful road trip in franchise history with a 127-101 demolition of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Griffin also had 8 rebounds and Redick shot 4-5 from 3. DeAndre Jordan had 13 rebounds and 11 points for the Clippers. Chris Paul had 12 points with 8 assists on the night. Spencer Hawes came off the bench to contribute 14 points.
Shabazz Muhammad had 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Timberwolves to lead the Wolves off the bench. Andrew Wiggins, the first overall pick in the draft, scored all 14 of his points in the first half. Ex-Clippers point guard Mo Williams had 7 points and 7 assists. Robbie Hummel had 13 points off the bench and Zach LaVine had 10 points.
