The Los Angeles Clippers are beginning to making moves now that their franchise has changed their image, they have brand new logo and uniforms, (which are Grade A Garbage by the way) they have traded for apparently everybody’s locker room sweetheart Lance Stephenson. They’re on a good track and we still got the NBA Draft and free agency to go.
Their next potential step is trading for Denver Nuggets forward Wilson Chandler.
The Clippers are also exploring trade options for Jamal Crawford, according to sources, and one possibility is trading Crawford and C.J. Wilcox, the team’s 2014 first round pick, to the Denver Nuggets for Wilson Chandler.
Now I am wondering whether there is any point in this trade, I mean what does any team have to gain here? Chandler is younger than Crawford but not as clinical and Crawford would do okay for Denver but he’s getting on a bit. Only a matter of time before he can’t get it done every time.
We saw glimpses this past season, Crawford and Chandler have both had their injuries, if this goes down, i will want to ask Doc Rivers why he felt the need to pull this deal off. I don’t know. Seems like a bad deal for both teams.
