Actor and director Clint Eastwood has publicly backed former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s campaign to become President of the United States. During an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Eastwood openly highlighted Bloomberg’s journey to the White House.
“The best thing we could do is just get Mike Bloomberg in there,” Eastwood said.
Later, he openly criticized the actions of Donald Trump. He noted that he disagrees with “certain things that Trump’s done.” He also mentioned that he wished that Trump conducted himself “in a more genteel way, without tweeting and calling people names.”
Eastwood joins Judith Sheindlin, better known as Judge Judy, as the latest celebrity to back Michael Bloomberg’s campaign to become President of the United States. At this time, it is unknown if Eastwood will attend any Bloomberg campaign events or donate to his campaign.
