Robinson is a massive advocate of the use of marijuana, and plans to open up a business in Portland called Uncle Spliffy — based on his basketball nickname Uncle Cliffy. Robinson spoke about his opinions on marijuana to

“When you talk about guys playing a professional level, there’s a lot of physical and mental stress that comes with that,” he said. “To have something available to you that has health benefits, I don’t see the issue with it myself.”
Robinson played a tremendous 18 seasons in the NBA, 17 of which he made the playoffs. For his career, he averaged 14.2 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. Robinson was named to the All-Star team in the 1993-94 season, when he averaged 20.1 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. He was also named to the All-Defensive Second Team twice in his career, and won the Sixth Man of the Year Award once.
It’s unclear when Uncle Spliffy will open its doors. You can visit its website, but all you’ll see is a massive marijuana leaf graphic with the text “Coming Soon.”
