The Cleveland Cavaliers are in the NBA Playoffs for the first time since the 2009-2010 NBA season. Which means its been 5 years since Cavaliers fans have seen a playoff game. Not just any Playoff game, but if no one has noticed this team is good. Who wouldn’t want tickets to watch LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, J.R Smith, destroy any team that tries to beat them in the first round? Supposedly, the entire Cleveland area.
According to multiple reports and a couple disgruntled fans, the Cleveland Cavaliers Game 1 and Game 2 were sold out in 45 seconds. It might have even been shorter then that.
Fans weren’t happy about it:
So Cavs playoff tickets sold out in a whole 45 seconds #ThatsUnreal

The Cleveland Cavaliers Sports Center wasn’t happy about it either:
The Cavs Playoff tickets sold out in half a minute. That's roughly the same as Anthony Bennett's MPG during his Cavalier Career.

Stats of Cavs playoff sales:
16 games (most possible) x 20,562 = 328,992 tickets / 36 seconds = 9,138.66 tickets sold a second.

In most cities playoff tickets are almost impossible to buy, when they go on sale anyways. Most people will have to resort to StubHub and other off site ticket places to buy their playoff tickets.
