The much anticipated preseason game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat has already been interesting and they’ve only been practicing. But have anyone noticed that the teams are doing everything at different times? Well ESPN’s Brian Windhorst has confirmed the notions. Saying that the Cavs and Heat are avoiding each other.
“We’re trying to build our chemistry with our team,” Dwyane Wade said. “So the little time we have, we’re trying to focus on the Miami Heat.” “It’s going to be special to see those guys on Saturday,” James said. “But we’re here to work.” “We’ll see each other on the court,” Chris Bosh said. “That’s plenty of time to catch up.” “We haven’t talked to those guys, at least I haven’t, since we’ve been here,” Mario Chalmers said. “It’s like Miami 2.0 over there, basically.“
Mario Chalmers is right. It’s pretty much been like Miami 2.0. Except Miami did it better. I can see why they’re avoiding each other. There’s no animosity there by any means. There’s nothing wrong with focus. Preseason is for training and tune ups. All Star Weekend and the offseason are for chilling and socialising.
