Rising California artist City James has returned yet again with new music. This time around, he’s celebrating his daughter’s birthday with the release of “Baby’s Eyes” featuring J Warner. Throughout the record, he reflects on the growing pains of maturing as a man while being a young father. Over refreshingly smooth production, he not only reflects, but also offers a vulnerable testimony.
“When I look in my baby’s eyes, I see the world clearer. Then, I start dreaming and I want to dream bigger. When I look in my baby’s eyes,” he raps.
“By now, you’ve probably realized that I ain’t perfect. I try to hide this sh*t from you, but it still came to the surface. I’m still working,” he adds.
“Baby’s Eyes” is the latest record from the rising artist. Earlier this month, he dropped visuals for “Death To The Old Me” produced by Wayne Rays.
With half of the year left, there is only more room for City James to continue to grow and evolve as an artist. Check out his latest track called “Baby’s Eyes” featuring J Warner above.
