Cincinatti’s A.J. Green was carted off field during Wednesday morning’s practice. He apparently aggravated and already lingering toe injury sustained against their matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.
During Wednesday’s practice Green removed his cleats and then proceeded to slam his hemet into the ground. Green told officals that his injury was “something like turf-toe, but not as bad”.
Prior to their Sunday night loss in Foxboro, the Bengals were considered the best team in the NFL. With their first loss of the season and a list of injured players (including Green) the weight will be primarily on the Andy Dalton’s shoulders.
Green is considered by many as a top 3 WR option, so fantasy owners beware. The outlook isn’t good for this weekend’s matchup with Carolina. Mohamad Sanu will be Andy’s primary target.
