It looks like Ciara is looking to kick off the holiday season with her fans in mind. With 2015 already being a great year for the singer, musically, the ‘Body Party’ songstress went ahead to release her most personal album to date, Jackie. Lending her voice to “The Last Witch Hunter” film with ‘Paint It, Black,’ Ms. Harris has dropped off two treats for fans in the form of ‘Oh Baby’ and ‘Special Edition.’ Perhaps serving as leftovers from her most recent body of work, the quality of the new records are up to par and arguably exceed some of the work found on Jackie. Slowing things down and singing to the unbelievable love of her life on ‘Oh Baby,’ Ciara proves once again that she can easily go from demanding up-tempos to smooth slow jams. ‘Special Edition’ has the singer in similar territory as it picks things up just a notch as she sings about losing herself and raising glasses to the sky. It clear now that these new records may have been just what Ciara was referencing when she postponed her Jackie tour until 2016. Whatever the reason, these new offerings are a job well down. Give them a spin, below.
