Chris Rock has unveiled the first trailer for Total Blackout: The Tamborine Extended Cut. The new comedy special will take unseen footage from his 2018 feature and rework it into an entirely new piece.
“In this ‘remix’ of his 2018 special, Chris Rock takes the stage with searing observations on race, fatherhood, and politics. The extended cut includes never-before-seen jokes, interviews, and BTS footage,” Netflix writes.
2021 promises to be an exciting year for the legendary comedian. In addition to releasing Total Blackout, he will also star in the new horror film, Spiral. In this SAW spin-off, Rock plays the role of a detective alongside Samuel L. Jackson. The two work to solve a series of cop murders that resemble those of the SAW killer.
Total Blackout will premiere on Netflix on January 12. Spiral is set to hit theaters in May.
