Chris Pine is in line to star in Disney’s The Finest Hours.
According to The Wrap, Disney has been involved in extended talks with Pine regarding the Coast Guard drama.
The Finest Hours centers around a 1952 Coast Guard mission to rescue the crew of two oil tankers crashed off the Cape Cod coast.
Craig Gillespie is also in talks to replace director Robert Schwentke, who left the project to work on the Divergent sequel, Insurgent.
Pine can be seen in Into the Woods and Z for Zachariah.
