
Phoenix Suns Point Guard Chris Paul has been spotted wearing different hoodies and t-shirts that honoring Historically Black Colleges and Universities during post-game conferences. Now, he’s taking his love for HBCUs to a new level. Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony and Paul’s Social Change Fund has partnered with Bleacher Report and Legacy, History & Pride to design the HBCU “Homecoming” collection. Celebrating HBCUs across the map, Paul’s latest effort includes a number of hoodies, long sleeve tees and short sleeve t-shirts.
“For this collaboration, we were able to team up with our friends at Bleacher Report to showcase HBCU culture on a global scale through what we do best — developing one of a king merchandise that reflects the legacy, history and pride of Black colleges,” Legacy, History & Pride wrote in a recent Instagram post.
“As a collegiate lifestyle brand, Legacy, History & Pride, we find it important to highlight and celebrate the richness rooted in the HBCU DNA on our college campuses through fashion.”
Paul’s appreciate of HBCUs does not end with fashion. The legendary point guard enrolled at Winston-Salem State University in North Carolina last fall. He also provided transportation to polling sites for HBCU students during on Election Day.
