Chris Hemsworth will deliver the 86th Oscar nominations alongside Academy president Cheryl Boone.
The actor will deliver the shortlist of nominations at a press conference that will be televised by ABC on January 16.
The 2014 Academy Awards will be hosted by Ellen DeGeneres on March 2.
