Chris Boucher, a two-way big for the Toronto Raptors and Raptors 905, has made history in the NBA G League. Boucher has been named as both Most Valuable Player and Defensive Player of the Year, with the Saint-Lucian born Canadian player becoming the first international-born player to win MVP and the first player to win MVP and DPOY in the same season.

Boucher is the first player ever to double-dip on the awards, exactly as he predicted he would back in training camp.
I didn't think he'd played enough to get the requisite votes (I had Loyd ahead for that reason), but no questioning the year he had when down there.

Chris Boucher produced monstrous stats through his 28 appearances for the Raptors 905 this season, averaging 27.2 points, 11.4 rebounds and 4.1 blocks per game. With his G League dominance, the University of Oregon alum has earned a spot in the Toronto Raptors rotation, appearing in 26 games this season, with the Raptors signing Boucher to a standard NBA contract in February after previously signing him to feature in their training camp last offseason.
With Boucher’s MVP award win, Raptors 905 becomes the first G League team to have back-to-back MVPs, with guard Lorenzo Brown taking the honors last season.
