The Chris Bosh saga is not yet completely over. The Miami Heat center has not been cleared to get back on the court yet, after a fight with blood clots. All indications are that he will eventually be parting ways with the Heat.
As evidence of that, Bosh has also changed his representation:

This is not too surprising. Bosh thought he was in a stable environment in Miami but that doesn’t appear to be the case anymore. The center has expressed his dissatisfaction with how management has handled his situation. Meanwhile, there have been reports that the Heat would wait until past the deadline for Bosh to play in the postseason to waive him and stretch his salary out.
So, if Bosh is eventually cleared to play this season, he likely won’t be in the playoffs, meaning he can choose to sign a short-term deal worth a lot of money with a bad team if he chooses.
Of course, this all hinges on whether Chris Bosh is healthy enough to play. There is still the chance of a medical retirement and Bosh’s health remains the most important thing.
