We once again have a scare for Chris Bosh. When he pulled out of the All-Star festivities I jokingly said “it better be because you and Adrienne are alone for the weekend”.
Little did I know it was the blood clots, they’re unfortunately back and I think I can speak for everyone reading when we wish Chris Bosh the best of luck and can only hope that he makes it back for the remainder of the season. He is taking blood thinners to combat it and all we can do is wait.
Bosh began the new medication regimen with hopes that he can resume playing this season, the person told The Associated Press on Tuesday. The person spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because neither the team nor Bosh has revealed anything publicly.
Typically athletes in contact sports are discouraged from playing while taking blood-thinning medication. It’s unclear when Bosh started taking the medication.
If you remember back to the start of the All-Star Weekend he initially pulled out because of a calf strain. That strain was revealed to be blood clotting so back come the thinners.
The Heat are looking to participate in the trade deadline frenzy with Hassan Whiteside most likely being the gold nugget, hopefully the Heat get something done and walk into the Playoffs for Bosh to return for a push.
