As one of the last remaining big names still without a team for next year, guard Dwyane Wade presumably hasn’t garnered much interest from many NBA teams.
Once one of the best players alive, age and injuries have taken their toll on Wade as the 36-year-old’s game-to-game availability has become a huge question mark. Wade played the first half of last season for the Cleveland Cavaliers before he finished the campaign in a familiar Miami Heat uniform. Now with him mulling retirement and the market for his services looking dryer than ever, an overseas option has emerged. According to Sportando, the Chinese club Zhejiang Golden Bulls have offered Wade a three-year, $25 million contract.
The MONSTER OFFER is on the table.

Though playing in the Chinese Basketball Association is vastly different from playing in the NBA, Dwyane Wade now has an opportunity to resume his basketball career if he wishes to do so. The veteran guard has seriously been considering retirement this summer but he may have something left in the tank.
Wade has always been one of the few global icons in the world of basketball, and his relationship with China is well-documented. In fact, Wade has a lifetime endorsement deal with Chinese brand Li-Ning which he just signed earlier this offseason.
The man formerly known as Flash could certainly call it a career and no one could blame him. The recent spell of injuries have obviously worn on him and as his family and children continue to age, he could be more interested in being there for them as opposed to continuing his legendary career on the court.
However, if he does want to continue playing the sport, this opportunity with the Zhejiang Golden Bulls is likely the most lucrative offer he would get, though being tied up for an additional three years may not be what Wade had in mind. As the offseason begins to wind down, it’ll be intriguing to see the route Wade opts for moving forward.
