Work has begun on a new film centering around the Chilean miners who were trapped in a mine back in 2010.
The film titled, ‘The 33’, will focus on their survival as they were trapped underground for 69 days.
The AP is reporting that Antonio Bandares is starring in the film and will play Mario Sepulveda who was nicknamed Super Mario. He was the second man to be rescued. Juliette Binoche is also attached to the project. Rodrigo Santoro is rumored to be involved as well.
The movie has yet to get a release date.
